AirlineTrends is an independent industry and consumer trends research agency. We are continuously monitoring the global aviation industry for commercial innovations launched by airlines in response to industry trends and changing consumer behavior.

Raymond KollauRaymond Kollau (46), founder of AirlineTrends, has extensive experience in analyzing industry and consumer trends and translating these trends to relevant innovations in the airline passenger experience. Raymond is a frequent presenter of in-house trend sessions and facilitator of workshops at airlines and airline suppliers around the globe, as well as at industry events such as the Aircraft Interiors Expo and Future Travel Experience.

Before founding AirlineTrends, Raymond worked as Industry Analyst at PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consultants (now part of IBM), Internet Strategist at Agency.com and Head of Research at consumer trends agency TrendWatching. Raymond holds a Master degree in Business from the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands and also studied International Relations at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.

Daniel Baron, a resident of Japan for 20+ years, is owner of LIFT Strategic Design, an aviation design and strategy specialist with expertise in brand design, cabin design and customer experience development. Clients choose LIFT because of its deep understanding of the industry, strategy-driven output, good ideas that create meaningful differentiation and highly engaged communication with the client. Clients of LIFT Strategic Design include LATAM Airlines, Icelandair, Philippine Airlines, China Airlines, HK Express, and Skymark Airlines.

Pauline Hoogervorst is a senior airline management professional with more than 25 years of experience in passenger-focused management roles for Air France-KLM subsidiary Transavia, and as a consultant to major airline service providers. Pauline has significant experience in digital solutions and in designing and leading major business change projects and mobilising stakeholders at all commercial and operational levels of the business. Pauline has partnered with AirlineTrends to design and facilitate workshop sessions which serve as a starting point for customer-centric innovation.

Mal Lach has graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in Air Transport Management and is interested in the passenger experience-enhancing efforts that airports and airlines around the world are undertaking to keep travellers happy. As Trend Analyst, Mal focuses on journey mapping and on researching how the latest innovations and trends shape today’s and tomorrow’s customer experience.

Harley Peddie developed the current AirlineTrends website. Since graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand, Harley has worked as an independent designer in multidisciplinary creative teams in New Zealand, London, Amsterdam, and most recently Chicago, on projects for Mastercard UK, Cadburys, Reebok, Adidas, Elly, Chevy, TrendWatching and AirlineTrends.
